Dimethicone 100 is a mid-weight, cosmetic-grade silicone fluid used to enhance skin feel, reduce tackiness, and create a smooth, silky texture in creams, serums, and haircare products. With a viscosity of 100 centistokes, it offers excellent spreadability without feeling heavy or greasy, making it ideal for face, body, and hair formulations.
Dimethicone 100 is a linear, non-reactive silicone fluid with medium viscosity, widely used in personal care formulations for its ability to improve spreadability, reduce tack, and provide a protective, breathable barrier over skin and hair. It is highly stable, inert, and ideal for enhancing glide and finish in creams and leave-on products.
Can be added to the oil phase or post-emulsification for enhanced slip. Compatible with cyclomethicones, dimethiconol, and natural oils. May reduce foaming in surfactant-based systems.
Blend into oil phase or at cool-down (≤ 50°C) depending on formula. Stable across wide pH range and temperature.
