CDF PE-Alurecinol™ is a premium cosmetic raw material supplied under its INCI name, Phenylethyl Resorcinol. Known in the industry as the active component in SymWhite® 377, this molecule is valued for its high efficacy in brightening and evening the appearance of skin tone while maintaining stability in modern cosmetic formulations.

  • Why Use CDF PE-Alurecinol™?

Phenylethyl Resorcinol is recognized as one of the most effective cosmetic brightening actives available, requiring very low concentrations to deliver visible results. Unlike kojic acid or arbutin, it provides improved stability and reliable performance in emulsions and oil-based systems. Its strong antioxidant properties further support skin defense against oxidative stress.

    Key Benefits:

    • Reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation, age spots, and discoloration
    • Promotes a brighter and more even complexion
    • Stable in formulations compared to kojic acid and arbutin
    • Effective at very low usage levels (0.1–0.5%)
    • Oil-soluble for flexible formulation in emulsions and serums

    Common Applications:

    • Brightening serums and creams
    • Targeted spot treatments
    • SPF and antioxidant formulations
    • Advanced tone-evening systems

    Usage Guidelines:

    • Typical use: 0.1% – 0.5% (up to 1% in advanced or specialized formulas)
    • Dissolve in a light ester or cosmetic solvent before incorporation
    • Add to the oil phase and heat to 50–70°C for full solubilization
    • Combine with Niacinamide, Vitamin C derivatives, or Licorice Extract for synergistic effects

    Formulation Tips:

    • Best incorporated into emulsions or anhydrous serums
    • Pre-dissolve to ensure clarity and prevent recrystallization
    • Maintain pH of final product in the skin-compatible range (4.5–6.5)
