White Beeswax is a purified, naturally-derived wax widely used in skincare, lip care, and emulsified products. It provides structure, viscosity, and stability while forming a breathable, protective barrier on the skin or lips. The white version is decolorized and deodorized for use in premium cosmetic formulations where color or scent control is desired.

    Commonly Used In:

    • Lip balms and lipsticks
    • Emulsified creams and lotions
    • Ointments and salves
    • Barrier creams and moisturizing sticks
    • Solid perfumes and natural deodorants
  • What is White Beeswax?

White Beeswax is a cosmetic-grade version of natural beeswax that has been filtered and refined to remove impurities, scent, and natural yellow pigment. It retains all the functional benefits of beeswax—structure, water resistance, and emolliency—while being ideal for color-sensitive formulations like lipsticks and lotions.

    Why Use White Beeswax?

    • Natural Origin: Derived from honeybee hives; refined for cosmetic use
    • Excellent Structuring Agent: Adds firmness and stability to oil-based formulas
    • Moisture Barrier: Helps lock in hydration and protect skin and lips
    • Film-Forming: Creates smooth, breathable coatings for better wear
    • Improves Consistency: Works as a thickener and co-emulsifier in creams and emulsions

    Performance Highlights

    • Compatible with oils, butters, and most emulsifiers
    • Does not impart yellow color or scent—ideal for custom shades and fragrances
    • Can be combined with other waxes (e.g., Carnauba or Candelilla) to alter hardness or gloss

    Additional Application Examples:

    • Natural lip gloss and lipsticks
    • Cold-processed lotion bars and balms
    • Protective baby care creams
    • Makeup sticks and highlighters

    Formulation Tip:

Use alone or in combination with Carnauba, Candelilla, or Ozokerite Wax to control melting point, glide, and finish. Ideal in formulations where the natural yellow color of standard beeswax is not desired.
