What is White Beeswax?

White Beeswax is a cosmetic-grade version of natural beeswax that has been filtered and refined to remove impurities, scent, and natural yellow pigment. It retains all the functional benefits of beeswax—structure, water resistance, and emolliency—while being ideal for color-sensitive formulations like lipsticks and lotions.

Why Use White Beeswax?

Formulation Tip:

Use alone or in combination with Carnauba, Candelilla, or Ozokerite Wax to control melting point, glide, and finish. Ideal in formulations where the natural yellow color of standard beeswax is not desired.

How to Use

Heat with oil phase until fully melted. Mix thoroughly before pouring. Adjust percentages for stiffness and occlusiveness.

• Heat to 70°C – 75°C
• Blend with butters, oils, and other waxes
• Pour while warm into containers or molds

• Use level: 1% – 20%
• Suitable for anhydrous systems and emulsions
• Not water soluble; must be added to oil phase
