FD&C Yellow 5 Aluminum Lake is produced by adsorbing a soluble dye onto an inert substrate, converting it into a pigment form suitable for oil and wax systems. This allows formulators to achieve vibrant yellow coloration while minimizing migration and bleeding associated with water-soluble dyes.

• Blend with red lakes to create orange tones or warm corals
