FD&C Yellow 6 Lake delivers a saturated orange-yellow tone ideal for warm shade development, coral blends, and high-impact color systems. As a lake pigment, it behaves like a pigment rather than a soluble dye, providing better control in oils and waxes with reduced bleeding and migration.

• Create a pigment grind for repeatable production batches
• Blend with Red 7 or Red 33 lakes to develop corals and warm reds
• Combine with titanium dioxide for softer peach and pastel tones
• Use in small increments for undertone tuning (it warms quickly)
