Black Iron Oxide is a high-impact pigment used to deepen shades, neutralize undertones, and build realistic color ranges when blended with red and yellow oxides. It is extremely tinting, so small adjustments can significantly shift the final shade, especially in complexion products.

• Typical use level: 0.05–5% depending on desired intensity and formula type
• Highly tinting: add slowly and re-check shade after full dispersion
• For oil systems, pre-wet using carriers such as Castor Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, or Isododecane (based on your system)
• Use high-shear mixing to prevent speckling and streaking
