Warm the required amount of mascara on a double boiler.
Mix Polysorbate 80 with distilled water. For example, if you are working with a 50g mascara base, mix 0.05g Polysorbate 80 with 15g distilled water. That’s roughly 0.25% of Polysorbate 80 to water ratio.
Now slowly add this water mix to the mascara base. This will make the mascara runny and easy to pour into the bottles. (Use only as needed; you might not need to use all the water mix.)
Work in small batches or keep the base on a double boiler to prevent solidifying.
For large-scale production, it can be easily filled with automatic filling machines.
