Potassium Cetyl Phosphate is a gentle, PEG-free anionic emulsifier that creates stable oil-in-water emulsions with a light and elegant skin feel. Commonly used in sunscreens and moisturizers, it supports SPF systems and active delivery while maintaining compatibility with a wide pH range and other emulsifiers.
Potassium Cetyl Phosphate is a mild anionic emulsifier derived from fatty alcohols and phosphate esters. It’s valued for its stability, skin compatibility, and ability to support elegant O/W emulsions, even with challenging actives like UV filters or exfoliants. It’s commonly used in modern, PEG-free emulsifier systems.
Heat in the oil phase (70–75°C). Can be used alone or with co-emulsifiers like glyceryl stearate or cetearyl alcohol for enhanced stability and richness.
Pre-melt in oil phase and homogenize with water phase at 70–75°C. Suitable for hot-processed emulsions.
