Unlike standard silicones, PEG-12 Dimethicone is designed to be water-dispersible, making it an excellent choice for lightweight, hydrating emulsions and sprays. It offers a silky, non-greasy feel and enhances combability, glide, and after-feel in both rinse-off and leave-on products.
Add during cool-down or to the oil phase depending on formula. Blend well to prevent cloudiness. Works well with other PEG-silicones, dimethicone copolyols, and natural esters in hybrid systems.
