Function: Emollient, Solvent, and Texture Enhancer

Isohexadecane is a high-purity, lightweight odorless emollient often used in skincare and cosmetic products for its excellent spreadability, silky texture and non-greasy feel. It is normally used as emollient, cleansing agent, solvent and texture enhancer.

Effectively dissolves dirt and make up in cleansing oils, micellar water and make up removers.

Isohexadecane is typically used in concentrations between 1% and 15% in cosmetic formulations. It is incorporated in oil phase and is compatible with a wide range of emollients, oils and silicones.
