Candelilla Wax is a hard, brittle plant wax derived from the leaves of the Euphorbia Cerifera shrub. Known for its smooth application, natural shine, and film-forming properties, it’s a popular vegan alternative to beeswax in lip care, color cosmetics, and emulsified creams.
Candelilla Wax is a natural vegetable wax harvested from the Candelilla shrub native to Mexico. It is harder than beeswax but softer than Carnauba Wax, offering a balanced structure and smooth glide. It's ideal for both anhydrous and emulsified systems that require stability, gloss, and a polished finish.
Candelilla Wax is great for replacing or reducing beeswax in clean formulations. Pair it with oils and emollients to soften feel, or with Carnauba or Ozokerite to increase hardness.
Melt in the oil phase and combine with oils, butters, or other waxes. Stir thoroughly and pour while warm.
