Hyaluronic Acid (High Molecular Weight1-1.5 M Daltons) is a potent humectant known for its ability to attract and hold moisture in the skin, making it an essential ingredient in hydration-focused skincare.
This Hyaluronic Acid doesn’t form a thick gel when mixed with water. High molecular weight hyaluronic acid works on the skin's surface to create a moisture barrier that prevents water loss.
Used at 0.1-2% in skincare formulations. Stable in formulations with a pH range of 4-7. Add in the cool down phase to avoid oxidation.
